Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
Welcome to Bili Cards.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bili Cards website, progressive web app, digital products, vocabulary cards, audio content, illustrations, text, features and related services (together, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by Alexandra Motte EI, a sole proprietorship registered in France under SIRET number 909 501 058 00020, located at 30 B Avenue des Centurions, 34170 Castelnau-le-Lez, France (“Bili Cards”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing or purchasing the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use or purchase the Service.
1. About Bili Cards
Bili Cards is a digital educational service designed for parents and caregivers who want to introduce French vocabulary and simple French phrases into daily interactions with a young child.
The Service provides digital vocabulary cards, short phrases, audio content, illustrations and guidance for parents or caregivers. Content may be personalized based on information provided by the user, such as the child’s age range, family environment, daily routines, pets, or relevant objects used at home.
Bili Cards is intended for adults. It is not intended to be used directly by children. The child should not create an account, make purchases, or use the Service independently.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your country of residence, to create an account or purchase the Service.
By using the Service, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Account Registration
To access the Service, you may need to create an account and provide certain information, such as your email address and onboarding answers.
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that the information provided is false, misleading, fraudulent, or used in breach of these Terms.
4. Digital Access and Duration
When you purchase Bili Cards, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access the Service for as long as the Service exists and remains available, subject to these Terms.
This does not mean lifetime ownership of the content, software, platform, cards, audio files, illustrations, text, design, or any other materials. You are purchasing access to a digital service, not ownership of the Service or its content.
We may update, modify, improve, replace, remove, or discontinue certain features, cards, audio content, illustrations or parts of the Service at any time.
We may also discontinue the Service as a whole. If we decide to permanently discontinue the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to inform active users in advance where practical.
5. Daily Card Access
Bili Cards is designed to unlock content progressively, usually with one new vocabulary card made available each day.
The exact number of cards, the order of cards, the personalization logic, and the availability of specific content may vary depending on the user’s profile, onboarding answers, technical limitations, product updates, or editorial changes.
We do not guarantee that every user will receive the same cards, the same order of cards, or the same personalized experience.
6. Educational Purpose Only
Bili Cards is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee that using the Service will make a child bilingual, fluent in French, or achieve any specific educational, developmental, cognitive, academic, or linguistic result.
The Service is intended to support parent-child interaction. It is not a medical, developmental, psychological, speech therapy, or professional educational diagnosis tool.
If you have concerns about your child’s language development, hearing, speech, learning, or health, you should consult a qualified professional.
7. No Direct Child Use
The Service is designed for parents and caregivers.
Children should not use the Service directly, create an account, submit personal information, make purchases, or interact with the website or app independently.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@bilicards.com so that we can take appropriate action.
8. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed before purchase. Prices may be shown in USD, EUR, or another currency depending on your location or the checkout settings.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the payment provider to charge the payment method you provide.
Taxes, VAT, sales tax, GST/HST, currency conversion fees, bank fees, or other charges may apply depending on your location, payment method, and applicable law.
9. Refunds, Withdrawal Rights and Consumer Rights
Refunds and withdrawal rights are handled according to the minimum requirements of the laws applicable in the consumer’s country of residence.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that provides a statutory right of withdrawal, you may have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the date of purchase, without giving any reason, unless an exception applies.
Bili Cards is a digital service that unlocks content progressively, generally with one new vocabulary card made available each day. During any applicable withdrawal period, you will only have access to the content made available during that period.
To exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, you must contact us at hello@bilicards.com before the end of the applicable withdrawal period and clearly state your decision to withdraw from the contract.
If your withdrawal request is valid under applicable law, we will refund the amount paid using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed. After the refund is processed, your access to the Service will be disabled.
For customers who are not entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal, refunds may still be offered where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.
After any applicable legal withdrawal or refund period has expired, purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where we are unable to provide access to the Service due to a technical issue on our side that we cannot resolve.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under the laws of your country of residence.
10. Model Withdrawal Form
If you are legally entitled to a right of withdrawal, you may use the form below, but it is not mandatory. You may also contact us with any clear statement expressing your decision to withdraw.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, translate, distribute, sell, publish, license, or create derivative works from the Service or its content without our prior written permission.
14. User-Provided Information
You may provide information during onboarding or account setup, such as the child’s age range, household environment, routines, pets, or preferences.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. The personalization of the Service depends on the information you submit.
You agree not to submit sensitive personal information, medical information, or unnecessary personal information about a child.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

If you subscribe to our emails or give consent to receive marketing communications, we may send you updates, educational tips, product information or promotional offers.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us at hello@bilicards.com.
Transactional emails related to your purchase, account, access, security, or support may still be sent where necessary.
18. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, improve, redesign, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
We may also change the way content is displayed, unlocked, personalized, or organized.
We will make reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing the core value of the Service for active users, but we do not guarantee that all features or content will remain permanently available.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by email or by displaying a notice on the website or app.
The updated Terms will apply from the date they are posted or from the date stated in the notice. If you continue using the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
20. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:
- you breach these Terms;
- your payment is fraudulent, disputed, reversed, or unauthorized;
- you misuse the Service or attempt to copy, resell, or redistribute the content;
- we are required to do so by law;
- we discontinue the Service.
If your account is terminated because of a breach of these Terms, you may not be entitled to a refund, except where required by applicable law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Stopping use of the Service does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
21. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or browser, or that it will meet your specific expectations.
We do not guarantee specific language learning outcomes, child development outcomes, educational results, or user engagement.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
23. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, hosting failures, cyberattacks, strikes, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government actions, pandemics, payment provider issues, or third-party service failures.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of the country where you habitually reside.
25. Dispute Resolution
If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first at hello@bilicards.com so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.
For consumers located in the European Union, you may have access to consumer mediation or other dispute resolution mechanisms where required by law.
